Radish and Herb Butter
Radish & Herb Butter
Caviar already melts in your mouth. Butter just makes sure everything around it does too.
Parsley, dill, basil; growing up, herbs were never the main event. Always the side dish, never the star. And a splash of lemon never hurt anyone. This recipe puts them all where they belong: mixed into soft butter with crisp radish, until it turns into something that makes caviar taste even more like itself.
No salt here! the caviar already brings that, and that's plenty.
Simple to make, better shared. The kind of thing you put on the table when the people around it matter more than the clock.
Use whatever herbs you have on hand, what's pictured here is radish, parsley, a small garlic clove, basil, dill, and pepper.
How to make it:
- Soften the butter until it's easy to mix.
- Fold in your chopped radish, herbs, garlic, and pepper.
- Roll it into a log using plastic wrap and twist the ends to seal.
- Chill for 24 hours.
- Slice and serve.
