Welcome to Caspi Events, an evening built around one simple idea: caviar deserves to be understood, not just admired from a distance.
We gather no more than 15 people at a time, because this isn't a show, it's a table. Over the course of the evening, you'll move through pairings rooted in Persian cuisine, some shaped with French technique, some reimagined into something more contemporary, and drinks chosen to match the moment rather than the menu. There's ritual too, the kind that shows up naturally at any Persian table when guests are treated like family. If you already know that feeling, you'll recognize it here. If you don't yet, we'd love to be the ones who show you.
Caviar has always carried a certain price, and we think it's worth explaining why, honestly. A sturgeon takes years, sometimes decades, before it's ready to give us its eggs. It's a bit like planting a walnut tree. You invest in something long before you ever see its fruit, and the waiting is part of what makes the harvest mean something. What follows that wait is equally demanding: the roe is still extracted by hand, a process that asks for real care, patience, and years of specialization to do properly. So the price was never just marketing. It was always about time and craft.
For a long time, that made caviar feel like it belonged to a small, closed circle. Caspi wants to gently change that. We believe the sturgeon and what it gives us are far too magical to stay behind a velvet rope. This fish has been part of our world for two hundred million years, quietly outlasting almost everything around it, and a story like that deserves to be shared, not gatekept. We think everyone should have the chance to taste it at least once, and to hear where it truly comes from.
This evening isn't only about the caviar itself. It's about the whole story around it: where it came from, how people have eaten it across different eras and cultures, and what it actually means to taste it the right way. We won't tell you caviar belongs at your table every morning. We will tell you it's worth pausing for, worth understanding, and worth experiencing at least once with people you love.
Come for the caviar. Stay for everything that got it there.
If you join us, we would love to see the evening through your eyes. Tag your photos with #TasteTheCaspi so we can relive it with you.
